International School of Kuantan offers a broad programme in the English to students based on the best of North American and other western curriculum models.
Students sit for the SATs exams that measures critical reading, writing, and math abilities and the International Schools’ Assessment, an achievement test designed for students in Grades 3, 5, 7, and 9 or 10 in international schools worldwide. An alternative to the SATs are the American College Tests which the school also conducts.
The school provides an English as a second language programme for students who have a limited command of the English language. With English as the main medium of instruction ehre at ISK, other languages such as Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are used in the curriculum as well.
