Seoul’s Major Palaces and Royal Sites Open Free During Chuseok Holiday

South Korea’s Royal Palaces and Tombs Management Office is opening the four major palaces, Jongmyo Shrine, and Joseon royal tombs free of charge through September 27 for the Chuseok holiday. Visitors can also attend traditional performances, folk activities, palace ceremonies, and evening cultural programs. Some attractions, including special night tours, require advance reservations, while regular access to the designated heritage sites is available without admission fees during the holiday period.
